Beacon Lights were happy to work with Aaron Nobbs Electrical on the design and supply of lighting for this new industrial storage warehouse and the two floors of offices.

For this industrial storage warehouse project, we used high output 120W LED luminaires. With the great progress made in LED lighting, these fittings achieve higher lux levels and greater energy savings than the old-style alternatives saving the client money on both running costs and maintenance costs. Company owners can often save between 50-80% on their energy bills (dependant on existing fittings, hours of use and sensors) by switching to LED.

We achieved the required emergency coverage for compliance with BS5266 by providing integral emergency ballasts within the fittings. We also made sure all the fire exits are illuminated internally and externally for a safe exit from the building. How safe is your warehouse to work in? Is it compliant with current BS5266 regulations?

In the operations offices, meeting rooms and staff areas we supplied low glare LED panels for glare compliance. For the corridors we used the same panels complete with integral sensors to achieve maximum energy savings.

The end client was extremely happy with the results as the new LED fittings provide a bright, comfortable and safe working environment with no dark areas or shadows.
